
Muzaffargarh, July 26: In a bid to combat global warming, the Civil Society Network in collaboration with the Ghazali Education Foundation has launched an ambitious tree plantation drive in Muzaffargarh district.
According to Associated Press of Pakistan, the initiative aims to plant 100,000 saplings in hospitals, schools, offices, and other public places across the district, starting from August 20. The campaign will begin at Indus Hospital Muzaffargarh, where 1,000 students from Ghazali School will plant 5,000 saplings.
Malik Khair Muhammad Budh, President of Civil Society Network Muzaffargarh, and Malik Javed, President of Ghazali Education Foundation, emphasized the urgent need for action to address the threat of global warming. They urged citizens to join the effort by donating saplings, planting trees, and encouraging others to do the same.
The goal is to create a green and prosperous Pakistan for future generations. The organizers believe that this collective effort will help mitigate the effects of climate change and make a positive impact on the environment.
