
MITHI: Lightning strikes swept through Tharparkar district in the Pakistan’s Thar Desert in Sindh province on Monday, leaving death and destruction. According to KTN News TV, eight people died, and over 100 cattle perished.
The lightning incidents, which totaled 12 in separate areas of Nagarparkar and Chachro, proved fatal for humans in three instances. One incident claimed the lives of six family members in Okraro Bheel village, Nangarparkar.
The victims included Ramesh, Ranjeet, Bhumro, Sangna, Vikram, and others.
As per report, this event is part of a trend, as lightning strikes have become frequent in Tharparkar in recent years, causing concern among local residents.
