Call for Media Accreditation for COP 29 is open now!

COP 29 refers to the 29th annual Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Each COP meeting is a significant event in the global effort to address climate change, following up on previous meetings like COP 21 in Paris, where the Paris Agreement was adopted, and COP 26 in Glasgow, which focused on accelerating action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement.

The upcoming conference will bring together representatives from countries around the world to discuss and negotiate actions to combat climate change.

COP meetings are a critical part of the international climate change dialogue, where policies, agreements, and frameworks are discussed and established.

The sessions of much anticipated COP 29 will be held from 11 to 22 November 2024 at the Baku Olympic Stadium located at Heydar Aliyev, 323, Baku, Azerbaijan.

However, the online registration system (ORS) is the only official channel through which media can be accredited and receive permission to cover COP 29.

The secretariat will not accept accreditations via any other channel (e-mail, post, etc.). And any accreditation materials not sent through the online system will not be processed.

Any inquiries should be communicated through your online registration account or directed to [email protected].
