
KARACHI: In a bid to provide relief to low-income electricity consumers, the Sindh government has announced a new initiative aimed at reducing energy costs for vulnerable households. The move is part of a broader effort to promote green energy solutions and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, as per Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) report.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, stated that the government is committed to exploring alternative energy sources, such as solar and wind power, to reduce the burden on low-income consumers. “We recognize the importance of affordable energy for our citizens, and we are working towards a sustainable energy future for Sindh.”
The initiative includes plans to install solar panels in low-income households, providing them with access to clean and affordable energy. Additionally, the government will offer subsidies and incentives to encourage the adoption of green energy solutions.
